( ) Super strong Donut, the daughter of (retired? maybe?) supervillains, wants to be a hero, and has even been accepted to hero school. Her best friend (who accepts her villainous future) knows Donut is making a mistake, and vows to get her expelled. The style is cute and very reminiscent of popular cartoons, as is the dialogue and the humor. On the younger side. Like all of Graley's work, this comic is absolutely adorable, funny, and heartwarming. Donut is a villain who wants to go to hero school - it's hard enough breaking convention, as her parents are renown evildoers, but now her "best friend" Ivy is trying her hardest to ruin Donut's time at hero school in order to get her back on the villainous path. Donut is caring, hardworking, and totally determined to be the best hero she can be and it's just SO CUTE. This could definitely become a series and I really hope it does! Graley's comics have become a great source of feel-good-semi-spooky-fun and I need her to never stop creating. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
"Donut (middle name: The; last name: Destroyer) has a heart of gold and incredible strength. She lives in a world where everyone is born with a special ability and can choose whether to develop it for good or evil. Donut has just received the best news of her life -- she's been accepted to Lionheart School for Heroes! But her parents are the most infamous villains around, and her best friend, Ivy, can't understand why Donut would choose a life of boring heroism and ruin their plans to cause chaos. Donut is determined to prove that, despite her last name, she's meant to go her own way and be a hero. Meanwhile, Ivy cooks up a plan to get Donut kicked out of Lionheart -- and back on track to villainy!"--Page [2] of cover. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
