Jane Henry is back with the American arm of her Bratva. This takes place mostly in Boston, although we do get a few scenes in San Diego.

Tomas is the pakhan in Boston, who has a couple of problems. One is that he is owed a lot of money from a jerkhead in San Diego. The other is that his good friend suggests that he needs a wife. Luckily, both his problems are solvable with one easy solution. The jerk in San Diego has a sister, and she can be Tomas' wife. Caroline isn't all that happy about it, but she's stuck with the decision.

I like both Tomas and Caroline. Caroline is strong, stubborn, and fierce. She has very definite thoughts on life and what she wants to happen in her life. I think that Tomas has some issues with being confused. Well, confused and confusing. It leaves Caroline off balance and struggling.

I really like Ilya, and I hope he gets his HEA. ( )
