This book is about the life of Marie Curie. The style of writing makes it easy and fun to follow along with. It explains what her accomplishments were in the science field and what she did to achieve them. This book would be great for the classroom because students can learn from her, and the reading is fast. This story about the scientist Marie Curie and her inventions and her discoveries. The story goes on and tell the story of the first women Nobel Prize winner and highlights specific events of her life and the challenges she over came through her life. This story would be great to use to talk about the challenges that people face to make their dreams come true. It also would be a great talking point to encourage women that they can do what men can do. This book is a biography about the Physicist and Chemist Marie Curie. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize for her discovery of Radium and Polonium. This book talks about her struggles to get an education in a male dominated field. This is a very entertaining book to read as it is shown in comic form with descriptive pictures. This is one of my favorite books because not only does it show the drive that a young woman had to pursue her dream of being a scientist in a world that was telling her "no". sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
