I was right to think that the first book was just setting the foundation when it came to the romance. In this one, I finally got to see the progression of Cristiano and Natalia and that Cristiano was the right one to be enamored with. The way that he showed his attention and that she meant more to him than anything was staggering. The sacrifices he made for her were swoon-worthy.
Natalia had a few moments where I wanted to strangle her as she came across as more of a spoiled princess than a queen had me questioning whether Cristiano was right in his unwavering love and sacrifice. However, by the end of the book, I really liked her resilience and the change in her attitude. I am glad that this happened, too, because sweet lord if not she was missing one of the finest dirty talkers in the game. His mouth was FIRE.
Definitely, am ready for the conclusion of this book in order to get the answers behind this amazing story.
