The Coffee Shop will inspire you in your faith walk as you read through all the adventures that start in the coffee shop with so many twists and turns just like in our own lives. God is there and always for a reason. The main characters, Willaim and James, establish a friendship of faith and humor that are shared with all they meet. This is what draws so many to The Coffee Shop, where no one stays a stranger for long. How is it that a young man with alcohol and drug problems is drawn to a coffee shop that holds NA and AA meetings, He meets Beth, who then introduces him to a man that can give Adam the answers he's been searching for most of his life? Adam is not close to either of his parents either... What appears to be random is later found out that it is part of a much bigger picture that only God knows why. This is a book that will give you faith in new beginnings, friendship, and to be hopeful for tomorrow, knowing God is in control. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

I never write any reviews before I write my own, but after reading the two reviews on Amazon, I felt the need to revise my original review slightly.
Being a multi-genre author myself, I always ignore any errors that the book might exist and concentrate on the author has tried to communicate with their readers. Reviews that concentrate on the structure of the book, telling potential readers about all of the grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors that the book contains do nothing about to tell about the book's story.
Coffee shops are always far more than merely a place for individuals to go for coffee and something to eat along with it. It's a gathering place for them to meet friends or for women to have a coffee klatch with friends so they can gossip or, more +importantly, have friendly discussions regarding their Christian faith.
The Coffee Shop by Michelle Bever is a gathering where strangers meet and wind up supporting each other with whatever they're doing. The stories within the pages of her book are fraught with optimism, inspiration, and the Christian faith.
We need to remember what we read in HEBREWS 11:1 [NKJV]:
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
How the characters are interacting with each other is an indication of the Lord's involvement. There's also a lot of generosity that abounds in these stories.
"So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 CORINTHIANS 9:7 [NKJV]
For having given her readers an endearing story of the Christian faith, being the voracious reviewer of Christian books I've become, I'm happy to give Ms. Bever the 5 STARS I've her. ( )
