This is about as bland as comic books get. The writer throws Iron Fist into a supernatural horror story with Chinese demons, demonic possession, a little body horror, and many references to Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror." (Eek!) For a moment it looks like the story will have lasting consequences, but then it safely resets the character to the status quo by the end. Well, maybe Danny does look a little broodier now, but that could just be him gritting his teeth through the Michael Jackson earworm. ( )
