This is a repetitive book with photos of children playing different instruments. Each page contains one sentence that begins 'We (verb) = (instrument)...' and features photos of children from different cultures. Some of the instruments are conventional, such as cymbals, drums, and harmonica. Others are improvised instruments such as trash can lids, pots, silverware...or even our own bodies. At the end, there is a picture word list of all the instrument, a good reinforcement for kids who are learning to use picture cues as they learn to read.
