She reluctantly takes on the mantle of protector and mediator between Harrow county and the supernatural world. It sucks. It sucks a lot. But Emmy soldiers even going so far as making the ultimate sacrifice in order to save her beloved Harrow County. A long the way she discovers that she is apart of an ancient and not always benevolent covenant of fellow witches. Emmy has to decide before it is too late if they are friend or foes before allowing them into Harrow County. This by far is the most intriguing part of this entire volume were the introduction of the ancient covenant. Each character added an intensity that really heightened the stakes for Emmy. The only drawback was the limited amount of time spent on the world outside of Harrow County and the covenant itself. I still enjoyed it nevertheless. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
