Ruby's brothers won't let her play with them; off by herself, she discovers three sticks - swords! Her brothers take two of the swords, but still won't let her sword fight with them - so she uses hers as a tent pole and builds a castle, into which they want entry. After they supply some "honorable offerings," Ruby allows them to join her in building a shelter for "many loyal subjects."
