The Theory of Secularization, as many sociologists point, that religion and its sentiments (ie. spirituality, rituals, etc) would decline and somehow reach to an end with the growth of modernization and a greater secular society somehow proves wrong. In this post-secular society, as J.Habermas states, there is an unbelievable growth and awareness with religion. In the book, two of the great contemporary philosophers exchange thoughts on the relationship of reason and faith. Both at least point out that a dialogue between reason and religion would be beneficial for societal development. For Cadrinal Ratzinger, religion must be properly guided by reason and that its true form needs purification. Likewise, reason has its limitations that man must also take into account.
