While I enjoyed this, I was also a bit disappointed. I usually love the "fake boyfriend" trope, with all the twists and turns these stories can take. However, I found this one lacking.

I found it quite rushed, and would have much rather preferred a longer timeline. And there was a huge build up to this potential drama which then completely fizzled. While I get that it was a storm in a teacup, and the "huge misunderstanding" trope, it still felt flat. Add to that some editing issues, and yes, while it wasn't a bad read, it's not up to the usual standard I expect from these authors. ( )
