Providing detailed and heretofore unknown information about Mozart's lodge, this 1991 book was written with diligent research and didn't rely on the internet for its sources! Although short, the information is robust and supplemented with relevant prints of the period. Highly recommended for those looking for Mozart's Masonic activities. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

“The book is the result of the splendid detective work done by Bro.Robbins Landon and his wife, Elsa, in connection with an 18th century painting discovered by the Tinti familiy and which was restored and displayed in the State Museum of Vienna. The picture shows a meeting of the Crown Hope Lodge and has been the subject of close scrutiny by Professor Robbins Landon with particular reference to a 1790 document listing the members of that lodge. The picture includes a study of Mozart and reveals that Prince Nicholas Esterhazy was a member of a masonic lodge in Vienna. The latter point will prove most interesting to all who have been connected with masonry and who have made Mozart their special study. The book is profusely illustrated and gives a close insight into Austrian Freemasonry at the height of its power.”
