I loved the fun adjectives used to convey the piglets' and mother's opinions about taking a bath. I liked how the sentences ran onto the next page, it really helps build anticipation and makes it easier to read it in the appropriate tone in my head. I wish I had someone I could read it aloud to, because I think that would have made me enjoy it even more! Not only were the words fun to read, but the pictures went perfectly with the story line. It was entertaining to watch the bath get more and more fun as their mom added the bubbles and ducks, and used the brush to tickle them. It made me remember how much fun my bedtime baths were when I was younger, and how my mom would give us toys to play with. It was super charming to follow the piglet's as their views on baths changed. I think the overall message of the story was that you can make any chore fun. I could see me enjoying this book when I was little and wanting to recreate this awesome bath the pictures showed! ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Mama Pig's new little piglets are all clean and beautiful but, being piglets, they soon get grubby. Straight into the bath they go, but not without protesting that they do not WANT to be clean! Mama Pig entices them with rubber ducks and lots and lots of bubbles, and now the three piglets cannot wait to go out and get dirty so they can have ANOTHER bath. But one bath a day is more than enough for Mama Pig. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
