Second book in the series, I strongly recommend book 1 is read 1st as it sets the scene of the abduction and crash land on the planet and book 2 picks up where book 1 ended.
I didn't think I was going to enjoy this one, when I read book 1 but it was sooo good.
The Hero adores the heroine. He is so besotted with her but she is wary due to her experiences in captivity.
The captivity is explained at the start as the heroine has a nightmare so details from the events that led to the escape are not rehashed but we get to see what happened to Lucie.
It was a little push/pull from Lucie initially but she does have good reason which becomes clear a bit into the story.
We learn extra details about the planet and its culture and wildlife and how they use it to the full to survive.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
There is ex-drama and I loved it.
I thought it was really clever the way it is developed and resolved.
No cheating despite appearances at first.
Breadcrumbs dropped for future books in series and updates of previous characters and the couple from book 1.
HEA but I expect we will see the relationships develop as the series goes on. (
