If you've read the series you will probably have been waiting for this book since book 1. It is well written and some really emotional moments. From the time we meet Hunter you wonder who is, why here's there and who he is connected with. Good bit of suspense. Great epilogue at the end. HEA. Devney Perry has an amazing way of writing about people who have secrets and how that can damage a relationship. She also has a way of letting her characters work through the pain and get back to the happiness the deserve. In The Bitterroot Inn a traumatic experience has left Maisy Holt with nightmares, flashbacks and a wonderul little boy. When she meets Hunter Faraday there is an instant attraction but he is hiding something - something that is so big it could tear them apart. The secret was worse than I thought but it was worth it to see Maisy and Hunter work things out to find their Happily Ever After. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Her past. His secrets. They have more in common than she knows. Maisy is happily content with the life she's built for herself and her young son in small-town Prescott, Montana. Her child is thriving, her business is growing, and her family is as close as they've ever been. But when a handsome stranger walks into the lobby of her motel, her simple life is swept up in a wave of affection for his gentle heart. None of those feelings can be trusted, though. She made that mistake before with another man. The man she murdered. Hunter was a different man when he first saw Maisy Holt from afar. He took one look at her and ran in the opposite direction. But years later, he's back in Montana and unable to keep his distance. He shouldn't have tried to find her but he never was good at rejecting temptation. The promise of the good she could bring into his life is too hard to resist. Maybe if he can disguise the lies and hide the deceit, he can keep her from learning the truth. Because his only chance at a future with her is by burying his past. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

There was so much about this that I liked but there were several parts that just didn't sit right with me. This had great characters as usual, fantastic appearances by former main characters, chemistry, an adorable kid, and love. However, the reasons why Hunter needed to be there, how his being there would even help, and the whole way it was resolved was just weird and didn't make a whole lot of sense. If it hadn't been for watching Maisy finally get her happily ever after that she so rightly deserved and a beautiful man by her side I'm not sure that it would have kept my interest. A cute little boy also helped.
Great epilogue. I'm surprised, however, that the next book which is also the final book is not going to be Paxton's story. Especially, considering that Milo has been mentioned in several books as being together or married to Sarah. ( )
