( ) This is an ok book nothing special to be honest. Bill Smith is a private eye he has been asked to investigate the case of missing paintings. Some people turn up dead. Bill with the help of his assitant Lydia Chin solve the case. Wasnt very clear how Bill worked out what was going on and I didnt think it flowed very well. I was disappointed as I think this book could have been alot better. This is one of the Bill Smith novels in Rozan's series about a pair of New York private eyes, who alternate as narrator of the books. Smith is a far darker character than his upbeat partner Lydia Chin, and the atmosphere in this book follows suit. Set in upstate New York, the story is interesting, but the bleakness can get a bit oppressive. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
