Presented with the idea that her transgender child was "not of God", Cheryl B. Evans set out to see what God really thinks about transgender people. What does the Bible say? Why is there such a big divide among Christians? Why do some Christians insist there is no such thing as a transgender person while other Christians accept and affirm transgender people? And most importantly, what does God think? What Does God Think? by Cheryl B. Evans is a book which looks at what the Bible says about being transgender as well as what science says about being transgender.

While Cheryl Evans uses the proper terminology for being transgender, she does use intersexed instead of intersex; and while this is supposed to be a book about what God thinks, a huge chunk of the book covers science, which isn't bad necessarily but it isn't really written as advertised. So those are my main issues.

I would recommend What Does God Think for an introductory course which covers the LGBT community and Christianity.
