I really liked this short story where we see a reunification of Merle and Isaac. We were able to gain a good understanding of Merle and Isaac's relationship starting in school, and see how great they were together, when and how they fell apart, and then how they finally found their way back to each other. For being so in love with each other, I did want to bang their heads together and yell at them for their lack of communication. Luckily, it all worked out. I loved the idea of the child detective. Encyclopedia Brown books were my favorites as a kid. It was cool to incorporate some of that idea into this book. ( ) Quite a solid short story about a former boy detective (now struggling PI) and his on-again-off-again friendship/romance with his former Watson (now acting police chief). I liked Merle's matter-of-fact narrative voice, but I did think that it was a bit too strict a POV for me to follow everything that was meant to be conveyed in the narrative. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
