This book frustrated me. Not, because it wasn't good. In fact that is why it frustrated me. It felt short in length. The premise of this, being stranded, was fantastic but it felt rushed and then bam, at 90% everything happens at once and then it was over. I wanted to see more of these characters together. ( )

I strongly recommend you read the previous books in the series first as although this book is about a different couple it has a main thread that runs through the series.
This is Bek and Ambassador Lihvan. In the earlier books we knew that some warriors had set off on a rescue mission and this book is about one of the women 'rescued'.
I preferred the previous books. Ambassador Lihvan was too self sacrificing for me, I liked the caring for his mate that could not be attitude but I felt I would have preferred him to be more Alpha but maybe the author felt that was covered in the other book.
I was waiting for the moment when Bek realises where Kate is, as we all know the connection but the pair don't until they all meet.
A few hints at a future story as another warrior has felt the pull but is devoted to his deceased mate.
