It really breaks down the main parts of life that can be affected by a disability, but also includes how Shane overcomes those difficulties. ( ) In this book Shane Burcaw answers questions kids might have about living with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and living life wheelchair bound. He uses clear explanations that kids will understand and injects humor into his answers, like saying he doesn't let his brother help him dress because he'd pick funny clothes.
