I'm having to really think about this review. Did I enjoy the book, yes I did, but on the other hand, there were some things that didn't sit right with me either. I think the title is misleading to be honest. I couldn't find any "A Beautiful Lie" in there. No, what I read about were two manipulating characters who lied for their own sakes, being selfish and honestly in my opinion petty.

The saving grace for the book, and the reason I actually did enjoy the book, was the fact that neither of these characters were the MC's. The MC's, Trip (Ethan) and Jesse are cute, hot and sexy, and together they make an explosive couple. Maybe a touch of insta-love? But on the other hand, they had grown up together and therefore knew each other rather well already.

Just don't ask me about Eric and Jocelyn... ( )
