Emma shows so much courage when she stands up to the bully Jared. He however decides she is his next target. She ends up having a friend stand up to Jared for her which helps her decide that the whole reason she stood up to Jared was because she couldn't figure out what else to do about the bullying. This is a great book to read aloud to a group. I like how it also gives a great message of doing the right thing, and it also challenges you to define bravery.
