This is a beautifully written book that demonstrates the vivid imaginations of children through fantastic story-telling and artistry. My daughter loved the colors, the characters and every illustrated page. My husband and I loved the honest and familiar tale, told with great humor for everyone to enjoy. Truth be told, mom and dad loved the pictures as much as our little reader.

It's Great Being a Dad is about a group of children playing together and pretending to be different imaginary creatures. Their dad steps in to resolve a conflict and ensure the children can keep playing happily together. It's a fun story and the illustrations are cute and colourful.
My three-year-old really likes this book, and has asked to have it read to him many times.

Update: My toddler continues to enjoy this book. He even asked for a wand and dress-up clothes for his birthday, and told me he wanted to play dress-up like the kids in this story. It made me so happy that reading a book inspired his own creative play, that's a sign of a good book. :) ( )
