When a little boy throws a coin in a well asking for a pet unicorn, he has no idea what kind of trouble he's in for. Unbeknownst to him, unicorns make the absolutely worst pets. A cute, gender-noncomforming and colorful picturebook that teaches children the downsides and responsibility of having a pet. Additionally, "be careful what you wish for" is the classic warning that lies between the lines of this adorably illustrated book. Unicorns are demanding! They can be magnificent but very mischievous and messy. After a series of exhausting and destructive events, what he discovers is that they shed a lot of glitter, scratch up walls, chew carpet and furniture and jump inside (not a good plan with a horn on your head). The boy can't keep up with the additional mess of his new pet burping rainbows and pooping cupcakes. He determines that they just can’t be housetrained. Then, to his horror, he learns that they live in groups and get lonely without others. Things escalate from there and he must take action! Very fun. Should get kids laughing, rereading and sharing with others! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
