It's Mamet, all the usual caveats apply. I appreciated especially in this film how little patronizing there was, contra the Hollywood formula. At several points, key events must have happened -- logically they follow from what we are shown -- but are not specifically explained by characters. An example: the red book of The Process is swapped out by the FBI team leader, before Scott's character goes out to meet with Martin's character; we see the results of the swap when Scott does, and not mentioned again.
