An Irish film star who is viciously attacked and dies. The next attack is on England's greatest male star. Inspector West follows the lines of the plot from the film studios to a nursing home. to try and solve this case.
The case gets more complex with many suspects and several possible motives.
There is more blood shed and death, including a Detective-Sergeant.
Although, I enjoyed the book, I found it difficult to remember the characters and their role in the story, which made reading it more slow.
Set in London, the story moves quickly as West goes from one situation to another unraveling the mystery. (
