Some of the images were recognizable as the character chosen to represent the cards, others were far more abstract and I had to read the accompanying book to get the reference.
A few of the interpretations given in the book were different from anything I've read or learned, but none of them felt wrong to me and I feel will add to my understanding by providing a different point of view.
The Minor Arcana were represented by far more abstract images that sometimes reflected the meaning of the card but often did not.
If you do your readings based solely on recognizing the images, this deck will be challenging to use, but is well worth getting for the art work and unusual approach. (
