Summary:
Tells of the Battles of Lexington and Concord which began the Revolutionary war and helped to shape a new nation. The pictures of modern day man and women dressed in reenactment gear only goes to show children the difference in the British and the Colonial army's.
Personal Reaction:
I found this book to be accurate and easy to read for the young history buff.

Expand on the story with a brief lesson on the buildup to these events such as the Boston Tea Party. ( )
