I like the books Mercedes Lackey writes, she is good at creating a believable world and people to populate it. While her writing is not the strongest I do find it engaging ang and enjoyable. I like a series I can live inside of and her books are ones that have characters I feel invested in and a world I believe could exist. ( ) I grabbed this one from the library as an easy comfort read without realizing I am skipping a few of the previous collections. Each story does stand on its own but several of the stories do build on previous short stories in the last few books that I missed. This just means that I have more reason to get caught up. There were more stories that dealt with life outside of Valdemar and several that you really didn’t know when in the time line they happened and that was a nice change. Good solid stories in a setting that is familiar to readers of the series. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
