The Secret Blush (Jennifer Morgan romantic suspense novel – Book 2) by Ethan Jones can be read as a stand alone even though it is a series. It is one of the few romantic series I like, I don't care much for romance novels but this author does it well and tastefully. The girl of the story, Jennifer, is a PI part time and it has almost gotten her killed in the last book and it opens in this book with a bang also. The mystery is on. He boyfriend's job, cop, and her job, and her part-time job as a PI, and the near miss on her life are all intertwined and it is really exciting. Just how and the who is the big questions. The book is a fun mystery, action, adventure, and romance novel all bundled into a nice exciting package. I like his espionage books but I found I like these books too and didn't know if I would. It is a good nail biting episode. ( )

Well there is a lot going on, and I hope you like series because that is what you are getting. But I did not read the first book, however I don't think that I will, this just didn't do it for me. I did appreciate that it is a clean romance, not all books need to have sex in them, I really dont believe James would really stay in so called relationship but that is the scenario. Those of you who continue to read it can prove me wrong. I know there were many readers who loved book and I am glad for you to continue reading it, but I wont be one of them. ( )

I received a free e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I would recommend reading the first book in the Jennifer Morgan series, The Secret Affair, before reading this one.
On a scale of murder to money, this book was a run in the park.
Words can’t express my love for Jennifer Morgan, her best friend, Amber, and the large cast of characters in The Secret Blush. While every single character didn’t have a realistic amount of layers, all of them were memorable and essential to the plot.
I loved every minute of the book and the ending is an amazing lead into the next book which I can’t wait to read.
I recommend this book to fans of mystery, romance, and suspense. This book had my pulse racing until the last line and I am excited for the next one. ( )

I received an early review e-copy of this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review. This is the second book in the Jennifer Morgan series. I recommend reading The Secret Affair, the first book in the Jennifer Morgan series, before reading The Secret Blush, a continuation of the Jennifer Morgan story. This is a well-written book with good character development and a well-developed plot that seems more sinister than in The Secret Affair. The Secret Blush is full of action, danger, and intrigue. Someone wants Jennifer dead and nothing is, as it seems. The ending sets the reader up for another book in the Jennifer Morgan series. Ethan Jones has done it again with another great romantic thriller. Will be looking for the next book in the Jennifer Morgan series. ( )
