Alissa Wood has truly outdone herself! I loved the fact that Lucian is a dragon with fae blood, then, to have him fall in love when he really didn't want to, PERFECT! He has healed Arabella's wounds. She is his true love. Can't wait to see what happens to them and for them in book 2! I highly recommend this series for any one that loves shifters, dragons and love stories! LOVE, LIGHT and BLESSINGS TO ALL! Excitement, anticipation, emotional suspense, intrigue, and adventure, Its rare for me but I am not sure where to begin. There was so much that captured my attention, my heart, my everything. This was just one of those reads that keeps you hanging on all the way to the end of it all. But that was not the clincher. Its not over once you get to the end. There is more coming. I am not sure but that was kind of a turn on. I'm excited. I'm anticipating the next release. Its not coming fast enough. I am sorry. I cannot give it away. Just let you know that you will be drawn in and captivated by Lucian and Arabella. There was so much to sink into. The suspense, intrigue, and adventure. There was deception, conflict, and an emotional draw. There was so much. No way to not get enjoyment out of this one. Thank you Alisa for the ARC. I am waiting for the next installment. Alisa Woods created another spectacular shifter serial, Kiss of a Dragon. Lucian, Dragon Prince to the House of Smoke must take a human mate to produce an heir and continue a treaty with the Fae. He enlists the help of Arabella Sharp, to help find him a mate, but the only person that interest him is Arabella. This contemporary PNR takes place in Seattle. I’m a huge fan of wolf-shifter stories, but I love that Alisa Woods decided to write a dragon shifter serial this time around. Kiss of a Dragon is creative and attention grabbing. I love that the dragons protect the unknowing humans. I also, love the explanation about how they stay hidden. The story was full of action and conspiracy. The House of Smoke has some attention-grabbing adversaries. Lucian is a likeable hero. His previous mate died, and he feels unwarranted guilt for her passing. He is noble and protective. Arabella is brave and honorable. She is a lawyer who defends women who are in bad situations. I think it is admirable that she does a lot of her work pro bono. She is a caring individual whom you cannot help but respect. Both characters are very well-developed. They have a wonderful chemistry. I love how the story ended, and I am anxious for the second book of this 9-book series. Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Lucian: I am a Dragon Prince of the House of Smoke . . . and I am dying. Five hundred years is truly enough for a man like me. A monster. Yet a ten-thousand-year treaty will die with me, if I don't spawn a dragonling to take my place. My two brothers are no use in this task. It falls to me, the eldest by a hair's breadth, and yet, I cannot face the horror of another sealing. Another death. Another woman's blood on my hands. Arabella: I was saved from death in a dark Seattle alley by an impossibly beautiful man who swooped in on golden wings. Now he's taken me to his lair, opened my eyes to a world of immortals I didn't know existed, and given me an impossible task-find him a mate. Then, and only then, will he set me free. He needs her more than he wants; she wants him more than she should; and the fate of both the mortal and immortal worlds depends on not just repairing their hearts, but finding a love that's true . . .
