Brenna was attacked by a wolf many years ago that left her scarred and mute. Her step-father denigrates her and tries to have his way with her. He succeeds right up until the point where she fights him off and keeps him away from her. She also stands between him and her younger sisters. When her step-father gets tired of her, he decides that he's going to sell her to a group of warriors who have seen her and decided that they want her. He figures that the warriors will have their way with her and then discard her.

Samuel and Daegon, the leaders of the group of warriors, have different plans for Brenna. They have been searching for many years for her. A witch told them to look for a woman who was marked by a wolf and that she would help them control their beasts. That woman is Brenna.

This is a short, sexy read. Samuel and Daegon are pretty hot and they take good care of Brenna. Brenna is pretty accepting of her lot and doesn't fight them overly much. She knows that they own her and that she's technically their property. They keep telling her that she is theirs, but mostly I think they mean it in a whole you are my dearest love mine kind of way. I love the menage and the relationship that exists between the men as brothers and between each of them and Brenna. The sex is off-the-charts hot, I mean past panty-melting and into panty spontaneous combusting. I love this series, and this book is a great way to start it off. ( )

I this author is so good at writing shifter romance. One of the best out there. I recommend her work highly. ( )

Brenna was abused, called names, and teased by the town people and her stepfather was the worst one. But one day, when Brenna's stepfather is abusing her she fights back. That day things changed, he kept is distance but his verbal abuse got worst. Then one day he tricks her into supposedly helping with a deliver for the wares. But he is really about to sell her to some warriors passing through that saw her and wanted her. Now Brenna's only goal is to survive, escape, and get to her sisters to protect them for the stepfather. But thing don't go as she has planned. Will Brenna forget about her family? Will Brenna's masters convince her to stay with them?

This is my first time reading this author. I really liked this book. I could not put it down once I started reading it. The book was short. It was a good introduction to the series. The sex scenes in the book was hot. I can not wait to read the rest of the series. I recommend this book to others. ( )
