Not nearly as heavy or dreary as the cover implies.  Steffi's not even a tomboy: she cooks, and has good manners, and chips in where ever needed, and everything works out just fine in the end.  But I guess kids' books can't be the least bit light or sweet anymore if they're not fantasies.... ( )

This book is a great book for mystery lovers. It tells how you can cheer someone up by going for a visit. ( )
