The introduction of this book gives a great account of Wilber and Orville Wright’s background and a glimpse into their daily life. This book demonstrates teamwork, which the brothers shared, and what it took for them to be noticed. In this story, the flying adventures begin with the Orville’s flight at the Hudson-Fulton celebration, a two-week celebration of the discovery and navigation of the Hudson River. Wilber Wright showed his flying skills to America while Orville flew in Germany. Flights continued in Europe breaking records in France and Germany. The accounts continue all the way until the last brother’s death; Orville’s funeral included a formation of fighter planes over his service. This book offers several firsthand accounts, maps, and an aviation time-line. This is a detailed history book for the young reader. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
