Shameless is a nitty-gritty, down-right dirty novel and I loved every word of it.

I’ll admit that I walked into this one blind. Knowing that Elizabeth Kelly writes fantastic scintillating novels, I didn’t feel the need to read the blurb, because I just knew I would love it. Heck, the woman could publish her grocery list and I would love it lol. Thank goodness I was at home when I started Shameless. For I am one of those people who embaresses easily. I’m talking about just the slightest thing and my face turns fifty shades of red. Now, don’t get me wrong I love dirty novels, the dirtier the better, but my body, well... dammit it just gives me away every time.

It’s like it’s saying...I can’t believe you're reading this in public! or What if someone finds out what your reading!?

Now don’t take that as I’m ashamed of what I read, because I’m not. It doesn’t bother me one bit to tell the world I love SMUT or Romance novels. Heck, I’ll stand on the tallest building and shout it to the world. It’s just, well... my body's a traitor and thinks everything is quite scandalous.

Lordy-be I even blush when I read about people kissing, movies are worse. I’m one of those people that cover their faces and peek between their fingers. So when I picked Shameless up, I wasn’t but a page or two in and it was like being dropped into a fiery inferno. My face went from slightly pink to blood red in a nano second.

Woah mama, talk about starting out hot and heavy. If I had been in public I’m pretty sure people would have been calling 911. I was left quite speechless. And the kicker of it all...My husband thinks it’s a hoot that I embarrassed so easily and will tease me about what I read mercilessly. Thank goodness he wasn’t home either.

So Shameless was hot and damn was it a sexy read. And if you're anything like me you want to know if this book is all sexy and no story...right? Well I hate that too. But see that’s where E.K. stands above the rest, she has the wondrous talented ability to weave a heart stopping story with scandalous steamy moments. It’s a perfectly balanced story that mixes sweet and sexy.

I really loved Riley, who is a total badass. He’s the boy from the wrong side of the tracks your mama warned you about. The one you can’t help but want. One look from the sinful man and dammit but your panties just melt right off. Then there’s Maddie.

She’s the girl who always did what her parents told her to do. She has always walked the straight and narrow. Not a naughty bone in her body. But she’s also a woman who wants what every woman wants. To be loved like no other. To be cherished….but most of all….to be wanted.

Maddie’s used to being made to feel worthless. To fat, or too big of an ass and terrible in bed. Her fiance is a jerk who let Maddie know exactly how he felt about her. The thing is that she’s listened to it for so long that she’s started to believe it herself. So when she stumbles upon her fiance doing something he definitely shouldn’t be doing ( I’m trying to be good and not include any spoilers, so just know it was very bad..) she rushes off in hurry and gets a flat tire in the middle of nowhere. And that leads her to Riley.

Damn if she doesn’t get herself into one hot mess. Let’s just say that she lands into the arms of a man who shows her exactly what it feels like to be wanted.

And he wants her alright. What starts out as one hotter than hades one night stand turns into a relationship where Riley teaches Maddie just how much he wants her. Not just in the naughty way folks, but in all the ways that matter.

If you like steamy romances with sweet, sensual stories then I highly recommend Shameless ! ( )
