The biography of an African prince in the XVIII c., who after he was kidnapped and sold into slavery, became a sailor and was traveling around a lots of places. The first third of the book which lasts until his arrival to England and the third, describing the slavery at the West Indies are quite interesting but unfortunately the middle of the book is nothing else but boring descriptions of various naval battles.
