This is another intriguing picture book by the author of ‘Kiss Kiss, Yuck Yuck.’ Hill and Hole are best friends. They are both happy with their lot but wonder what it would be like to have a change of circumstance. Hole wonders about seeing the sun rise. Hill is curious about the feel of the earth breathing. They enlist the help of Mole and in a short amount of time they have their wish: Hill is a hole and Hole is a hill. But is changing all it’s cracked up to be? This is a story about wanting something different and what that experience can be like in reality. Great illustrations by Vasanti Unka and on one page the Auckland cityscape is identifiable by the sky tower’s silhouette. This title with its wonderfully original characters was a New Zealand Post Book Award finalist for 2011. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

This story is so interesting. I would not have imagined such characters as being the subjects of a story. I think it's another great way to describe the "grass is greener on the other side" situation. It's a beautiful way to picture and think about having different perspectives. I did not expect this story to be so profound just by looking at the cover, quite frankly, I expected it to be a book of opposites or something.
