This was great book, displayed vital information on different kind of bugs, and exemplifies very good colorful pages. ( ) Summary: Learning about bugs has never been more fun that this! The Bug Book teaches children about all the different kinds of bugs. From spiders, to caterpillars, and beyond. Personal Reaction: I am not much of a bug person, but this book was quite interesting. it really shows the difference between each bug and would make all the kids want to go on a bug hunt. Classroom Extension: 1. Create our own bug. Let the students be creative and create their own bug. 2. Let the students tell you what their favorite bug is and why. 3. Take the kids outside on a nature walk and see how many bugs you can see. Summary: This book shows children many different pictures about all different kinds of bugs. It has a nice way when it says things like bugs that love and be careful of bugs that bite. Personal Reaction: I like this book because as a kid you always wondered about different kinds of bugs and what they would do. Classroom extension: 1.This could be a good lesson about all the different kinds of bugs. 2.
