This was great book, displayed vital information on different kind of bugs, and exemplifies very good colorful pages. ( )

Summary:

Personal Reaction:
I am not much of a bug person, but this book was quite interesting. it really shows the difference between each bug and would make all the kids want to go on a bug hunt.

Classroom Extension:
1. Create our own bug. Let the students be creative and create their own bug.
2. Let the students tell you what their favorite bug is and why.
3. Take the kids outside on a nature walk and see how many bugs you can see.

This book is about a variety of bugs. The pages have wonderful large bright pictures that capture the insects well. Each page has a small description of the insect shown. This book is non-fiction. The media used is real life photos.
