Julius and Hudson are a mated pair who has all but given up on finding their other mate. When Julius see her in the crowd at the courthouse where he is trying to get marriage for tirades legalized. Then there is chaos everywhere when shots ring out and everyone hits the ground. Julius only thoughts are protecting Quinn and shields her with his body.

Once Quinn see Hudson and Julius together she drawn to them both and doesn't understand why. When she overhear her parents trying to assassinated Julius she does the only thing she can. But will that be enough? Will she be able to help him? Or will she be too late? Will the three of them get a chance to know each other?

I am loving this series. I can't wait to read the next book. I could not put the book down once I started it. Roxie has been added to my favorite author's list. I highly recommend this book to others to read.
