Not having read the first volume, this started off quite confusingly. This manga-looking comic collection deals with several characters: Colby Reynolds, a boy; his friend, Blake; Iris, a girl; Esurio, a mysterious being; Veridicus, a man who we meet in Slumberland.

Colby and Iris escape into the dreamscape that is Slumberland and the story reaches a conclusion after quite a few surprises.

Beautifully drawn without an excess of colour. Well-written and engaging.
