Edward the knight was teaching his trusty steed to fetch when he heard what he thought was thunder. It was not thunder. It was the snoring of several large ogres sleeping on the castle lawn. Edward immediately went to get the King who already had a plan in place.
As graphic novels go, this one is not very well done. The storyline is simple and silly. The illustrations are very simple as well. It reads very much like a comic strip. I would recommend this for optional purchase if you need more juvenile graphic novels for younger readers ( )

The knight and her (her!) trusty steed are back in this picture book-length comic, rushing to the castle to warn the king that slumbering ogres have been discovered. The abridged length and comics style make this accessible for the legions of second- and third-grade knight wannabes out there, who will also find the humor spot-on and the how-to-draw endpapers appealing.
