Jana is the most contrary character to date that Melissa Foster has written. Guess that is part of her charm. It amazes me that Melissa Foster continues to surprise me after reading so many of her books. Hunter walks the walk. He has just the right amount of arrogance and resolve to stay one step ahead of the game. Jana may be fiesty but he is determined and that is a passionate combination. I received an ARC of Seaside Embrace in exchange for an honest review. With each novel from the Love in Bloom series I leave a little bit more of my heart behind at the end. Knowing I'll willingly do so all over again.

Melissa Foster has done it again. Her stories pull you right into the plot and her characters are complex & believable. The central characters in this story are Jana Garner, a waitress/dance instructor/female boxer and Hunter Lacroux, a metal sculptor/artist. Jana and Hunter hang around with the same group of friends and seem to manage to hook up occasionally. Jana is frustrated with her life. Her boss at the dance studio has been out of town setting up another location and leaving all of the administrative & marketing chores along with her teaching. She is training for a boxing match & is in emotional turmoil from her frequent hook ups with Hunter.

Hunter runs Grunter's Ironworks, a metalworking business with his brother Grayson. He is in the process of designing an entry for the sculpture portion of a beautification project in town. His friends Clark & Nina are having some marital issues and so Clark is rooming with Hunter on a temporary basis. As Hunter tries to counsel Clark and help him see the marriage is worth saving, he begins to have stronger feelings towards Jana. Jana actually ends up being the inspiration for his sculpture. He just has to get beyond his reputation and Jana's feelings that she doesn't deserve more than a hook up.

This book is another great installment of the Seaside Summers series. All of these books can be read as stand alones but the same cast of characters show up off and on in all of them. Melissa keeps you so involved in all of their lives that you feel like they are real. I can't wait for Grayson's story! ( )

So we are back with another Melissa Foster book and another Cape Cod story and I feel like this book is a little different than the others, but I think that this is the ultimate growing comfortable with your adult self book.

Jana Garner’s life is crazy busy with running the dance school while her boss is out of town, She is training with her brother for a exhibition fight, working at the Underground for her other brother and getting her orgasms and sunsets from Hunter Lacroux, which includes her sneaking out every time before he wakes! But something is missing and every time Jana wants to go for something she get scared, so it's just better to leave things as they are…right?

Hunter Lacroux wants more than just a friends with benefits relationship with Jana, but how can he get her to realize that? By helping her to forfeit her dreams, but it always feels like he takes two steps forward and 10 leaps back. Will under be able to get Jana to see that their future and relationship could be everything they want and that he could help he on the road to her freedom, or will Jana subconsciously sabotage their future.

Seaside Embrace blew me away! It was a simple, it was beautiful and heartwarming. I loved the main characters Hunter and Jana, I empathized with both of their relationship struggles and have past mistakes flash in front of your eyes every time you are scared to make a decision or take a step towards you future. I loved the way Melissa tied in all of the past characters into the book especially Theresa, Bella and the pranks. There are also a whole bunch of new characters that I am hoping Ms. Foster gives new stories too. As normal, the writing and plot were simply divine and more-ish!

This book is just a whole bunch of goodness and I absolutely loved it! That is why I gave it 5 stars. ( )
