![]() Ninguno Actualmente no hay Conversaciones sobre este libro. ![]() ![]() This is story is told almost exclusively using onomatopoeia and for that reason alone it is impressive. But the illustrations add to it creating a general cold, murky atmosphere for every blast of sound to shatter. Nicely done. I wish the child hadn't shouted for the bus to wait and shatter the perfect text, but things happen I suppose. The setting of this book is a house in the countryside in the middle of the winter, with snow all around. It is a book all in sounds. It is peaceful setting and the colors of the pictures combined with the sounds make for a peaceful book. You get the feeling that you are there hearing the muted sounds in the snow fall. This book is realistic fiction. It is set in present day and the story line is believable and realistic. It is about a boy getting ready for school near Christmas in the snow. The story line is believable as are all the sounds that we all hear everyday but never recognize. Art Media: ink and watercolor Appropriate Age: Primary sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
A nearly-wordless book in which a young boy, eager to reach a much-anticipated holiday party on time, listens to the sounds of the shovels, snow plow, and other equipment used to clear his way. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
