A Novel in The Tav series Davo's a pretty average guy. He has a decent job, owns his own home, and spends his weekends at the pub. He fully accepts that he's gay, but doesn't want to be one of those gays who are girly. He likes football and other masculine pursuits, and firmly avoids anything that could be seen as femmeâincluding relationships that last beyond fifteen minutes. Then Davo's friend and gay idol not only gets a boyfriend, but also adopts a baby girl. Davo is seriously spooked and scuttles down to the pub. That's where he meets Lee, cute from her cherry-red hair to her pretty little dress and pointy red shoes. Davo is charmedâbut how is that possible? He's gay. Isn't he? I loved reading this book … I loved Davo aka Dave as the girls called him… he was funny, clueless and relied on a magic 8 ball to tell him things he was supposed to do.

I picked up Mr. Magic 8 Ball. “Shall I go and visit my parents?” I shook the ball, turned it up, and it told me Don’t count on it. I sighed in relief. I really didn’t want to see them while I was still working through this “Am I straight?” stuff.
“Should I text Lee now?” I shook the ball again.
As I see it, yes.
I froze. Mr. Magic 8 Ball said yes. But suddenly I wasn’t ready. What should I say? Drinks? A meal? A movie? When? Suggesting next Saturday would send the message that I wasn’t very keen, but sometimes a midweek meal was hard to organize. I’d never asked Lee what she did for a crust, so I had no idea if she was even free.
Wednesday, then? I shook my ball. My sources say no.
Tuesday? I shook my ball again. My sources say no.
Fuck. Should I wait for Saturday, then? Outlook not so good.

I loved Lee so much he patient, kind, loving and a perfect match for Dave. I laughed so hard while reading this book the interactions between Davo and Maxine were hilarious and adorable.. This was an angst free, funny, sweet read. The chemistry between Davo and Lee was believable …and when it came to sex these guys went for it, It was so hot *fan-girling*.

His erect cock was poking me in the stomach, so I gripped it tight and whispered, “I can see that.” He moaned, and his eyes rolled back in his head as I tugged on his cock. He leaned back on his elbows, dropped his head back, and gave me access to his body. It was a gourmet feast, all at consumption level. My mouth watered, and I leaned forward to capture his nipple in my mouth and suck hard. A guttural moan from Lee was my reward.
I ran my palms up and down the sides of his body, enjoying the feel of naked skin on my hands. His body was beautiful, despite it not being a perfect gym-god bod like the ones in underwear ads. I really preferred Lee’s body to those models. He was lean, verging on skinny, and a pale white color that I knew would burn badly in the sun. He had no chest hair, but when I ran my palms over his pecs, there was the prickle of fuzz, and I realized his hair was so pale it blended with his skin.

Another great read by this author. These stories really speak to me, probably helped along by the very Aussie sense of humour and idioms. ( )
