Joan of Arc is a story I really wanted to learn about and now I have thanks to this book. It is the story of Joan, also known as Joan the Witch who lead France into battle and won the war. Joan was just a peasant when the book starts off, but she becomes much more than that. When she was thirteen years old she saw a Saint in the light. He was a angel. He told her to bring the king to the city of Rheims to be crowned and there they would when the war. Joan did just that. She obtained a horse and armor from money she got from people that believed in her and when she got to king Charles he believed in her too. The king and Joan won the war and the king was then crowned in Rheims. Joan's work was done, but the king wanted more. He wanted Joan to fight among the French in the war against the English. Joan accepted, but was soon captured and burned at the stake. Joan will always be known as Saint Joan of Arc and will always be remembered through out the world. This book can be very informative to children, so they can learn the acts of Saint Joan of Arc. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
