Have a tissue handy the long day (or two) you set aside for this somewhat dark, steamy contemporary military thriller romance set partly on the Dine reservation in Arizona, but dark be too startled by a couple of chortles.

This was a very enjoyable story. The storyline had the usual SEAL action which make these novels great, but this time the story had a lot of native, and mostly Navajo influence and information in it which I found very interesting and added true realism to the characters.
Danny Bengay hasn't done much with his life since he left the reservation, but he still hears the voice of his ancestors occasionally, Now his grandfather is dying, but on his trip back home he meet a young woman, for a night of bliss.
Luci Tohe never expects to see Danny again, but that's ok., she has her sister to take care of and her job, but she will never forget him.
Danny's cousin is a SEAL, which gets Danny thinking.....he then decides to join up himself. But also Danny can't get that one night out of his mind and come back to find Luci.
There's lot's of tension in this story and of cause there's suspense and action as alway's with SEAL's, and a great love story to boot, a sure winner. ( )
