Everyone loves Bacon. Including Bacon. Bacon becomes so famous he forgets about his old friends, like Lettuce, Tomato and Avocado. What happens when Bacon realizes that everyone and I do mean everyone loves Bacon. Cautionary tale about not forgetting the important things in life and maybe being so popular isn't all that it's cracked up to be. ( )

"Everyone Loves Bacon" by Kelly Dipucchio is a book about how a bacon becomes famous because everyone loves bacon. When he becomes famous he becomes selfish and forgets about his friends. At the end he ironically gets eaten because everybody loves bacon. Although this was not my favorite book, this book is good to use to teach kids about the importance of being humble. In a classroom this would be a good book to teach inferences, and alternative endings. ( )

Bacon is very popular and it goes to his head. Pretty soon his friends feel discounted and left behind. What will become of Bacon?
