Angie's parents have moved to Ohio and her mother isn't busy enough renovating her house, so she decides to help Angie put on a book sale for the library. Unfortunately, one of the Amish Bishops is opposed to the books and when he is murdered in the bookmobile, Angie feels compelled to help the librarian prove her innocence. Angie's parents are a good addition to the series (and her father is lovely), the mystery was a bit more transparent to me than some of the others, but overall a good read. ( )

It's been nearly a year since the last murder in Rolling Brook and Angie has been busy with her quilt shop and her role as a town trustee. Life is perfect until she discovers the body of unpopular Bartholomew Belier, an Old Order Amish bishop, in the Bookmobile. Wasn't it just yesterday that Angie witnessed an argument between Beiler and librarian Austina? Angie decides to employ the help of her quilting circle to prove Austina’s innocence.

I don't often read cozy mysteries but admit I do enjoy this series, especially the adorable antics of Angie's French Bulldog, Oliver. I like the dynamics between Angie and her cast of supporting characters. Each story has been very different, which also makes the series fun to read.

Curl up and snuggle in for this new adventure in Angie's life.

I love a good cozy that creates the perfect scene of the crime, blend of romance and of course the ending that makes you want more. This book did not disappoint me as I began my adventure into the Amish country. You immediately feel a kinship with Angie and the locals in the town, Angie along with her dog Oliver create the perfect novice sleuth couple. Continuing into the book I was hit with how much I longed to view such details again and the nostalgia for Lancaster ( though not it's setting). I felt that this book was able to keep me wanting more on so many levels. I love that this is a series that you can travel in your mind and feel as though your there.

I was given this book for my fair and honest review. ( )

Enjoyable murder mystery in Ohio Amish town. I liked it but do prefer Lauren Bradford Amish series a bit more. ( )

Angie Braddock, quilt shop owner and township board member, just can't keep away from the murders that seem to plague this small, touristy Amish town. An Old Order bishop is found dead in the local bookmobile. The differences between the Old Order Amish and New were very pronounced in this book. The bookmobile is welcome at a farmer's market near the new Amish pie factory, but unwelcome near the school that houses Old Order students. Angie's quilting circle members and co-workers at the shop are characters that we continue to learn more about, as well her parents' move to town. Alan does a great job at creating atmosphere between the different types of Amish that inhabit Rolling Brook. ( )
