Sadly I haven't read the middle book, but i think I'll go buy it now. This one was better than the first in that the villian, while dislikeable was at least reasonably competent. I still think Nelson could use a villan to match his hero Cpt Issac Biddlecomb. So far Biddlecomb totally outclasses his enemies.
