There were definitely some laugh out loud moments from the comics in this book, but the collection didn’t strike me as being as strong as Brown’s first two efforts. It’s hard to top the hilarity of Vader’s Little Princess, but clearly as a trouble-causing daughter I’m a bit biased, but I did enjoy the addition of young Lando and Han, and little Chewie to the cast. I found the comics with Han to be the most amusing, not only because young Han isn’t very different than adult Han, but because Vader’s reaction to him as the companion of his children is absolutely spot on - “not that Han Solo kid again!” ( )

This children’s book is for the youngest Star Wars fans and their parents. The drawings are incredibly cute. The book is arranged with mostly single-panel comics. One such comic involved a bunch of clones trying to differentiate one another. I laughed out loud at this wondering, how do the clones tell each other apart? Another favorite summed up C3PO and R2D2’s relationship in a nutshell with C3PO saying, ”Why do you always have to be on a missing? Can’t we just go for a walk?” This little book is filled with many smiles, perfect for Star Wars fans with little ones. ( )

Looks like a kids' book, more of a grown ups' book. Humor totally wasted on children who don't get parenting angst. It would be better if my kids had ever seen any Star Wars movie, which they are too young for still. ( )

Am I not in a humorous mood lately? Not sure why I didn't find this one as funny as Darth Vader and Son (etc), but I didn't. Still a good buy for DH's enjoyment though. ( )

Got home from Funck's just in time, around 8:30 to read this to the girls before bed. Its a very cute book (more comic book than actual children's book). The girls definitely enjoyed it and laughed quite a bit to it (especially Olivia-Grace whose much more into Star Wars than Lily). A few of the jokes went over their head, but overall they enjoyed it, and I thought it was fun and cute. ( )
